De La Soul recently turned to Kickstarter to fund their newest album and with 10 days to go they’ve raised over $472,000, well over their $110,000 goal. Their upcoming eight album will feature Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn, Talking Heads singer David Byrne, and 2 Chainz. Today we’re hearing some new music from the hip hop legends that won’t be included on their upcoming Kickstarter album.
The new track “God It” features Nas and production by G_Force. If this is stuff they’re just giving away, then I can’t wait to hear the rest of the upcoming album.
