On Sunday the Lakers and Heat squared off in a marquee Sunday afternoon match-up, but it seems one celebrity didn’t have a chance to catch the whole game. Lil Wayne took to Twitter to tell his almost 10 million Twitter followers that he was kicked out of American Airlines Arena by the police for rooting for the Lakers. We aren’t sure what happened but you have to assume there is another side to this story.
Heat spokeswoman Lorrie-Ann Diaz told USA Today that Lil Wayne was not kicked out of the game but instead chose to leave.
So I’m @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would u believe they got police 2 make me leave?! Wow! F#€k da Heat
