Vitamins/Pain Relievers
Vitamins will help your body restore the missing nutrients it needs.
Vitamin B: Drinking alcohol decreases your levels of vitamin b1 (thiamine). Taking a b-complex supplement will help replenish the nutrients you may have lost. Try eating some egg yolk, legumes or fish for a good source of Vitamin B.
Vitamin C: This vitamin will help neutralize the effects of alcohol byproducts. It contains antioxidants and will help fight off a cold after drinking. Green vegetables and berries are excellent sources of Vitamin C.
Midol: Although it’s for women with menstrual pain, this pain reliever works wonders. It’s “essentially two headache cures plus a cup of coffee rolled into one pill”.
Stay away from other pain relievers such as aspirin or ibuprofen because they can irritate the stomach, cause liver damage and are blood thinners, just like alcohol.
