Here’s the first trailer for the upcoming David O. Russell film American Hustle, a fictionalized film based on the FBI’s Abscam sting operation involving high-priced art heists.
Russell employs some familiar A-list actors from his previous two films (The Fighter and Silver Linings Playbook) with Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Jennifer Lawrence, and Amy Adams all making the billing on Russell’s latest flick. Jeremy Renner also joins the circle.
Based off the trailer and the all-star cast, I’d say that this is likely going to be one of the most anticipated movies of the year. It’s certainly hard to argue with the success of Russell’s last two films, can he keep the hot streak going?
