Hopefully, the master tape of this Cinemax ad from 1983 is preserved in the National Archives. Future generations must be able to disseminate all of the laughter, frolicking, and finely-tuned coifs that represented 1980’s film. A bounty of slickly-edited clips backed by an inspiring jingle (yes, jingle), this piece is so unabashedly amazing it almost makes me want to order Cinemax today as retroactive tribute. Almost.
