If this were to ever happen to me, I would just pack up my sh*t and move to the other side of the world. Apparently this freak of nature happened in Santo Antonio da Platina, Brazil where Erick Reis was shooting an engagement party for friends. He went outside to find a ton (and I mean a ton) of spiders hanging from utility lines. It also looks like they are spinning one massive web. No thank you.

According to the YouTube post, which has gone viral on Reddit, Marta Fischer, a biologist specializing in spiders at the Pontifical Catholic University of Parana, said the phenomenon is normal and occurs mainly in the cities of Sao Paulo.
“This type of spider is known to be quite social,” she said.
They are usually in trees by day, and in the early evenings work together to construct giant sheets of webs to trap insects.Reportedly, they are officially known as “social spiders” called Anelosimus eximius.
