For just $850,000 you can live in one of the creepiest houses in the world. For whatever reason, it’s likely that some film or horror buff will gladly hand over that sum to own that house from The Amityville Horror.
The house on Long Island is the site of the well-known mass murder in 1974, when a man killed his parents and four siblings. He said paranormal activity in the house made him commit the murders and many stories have surfaced over the last 40 years that suggest such activity was and is present in the house.
Listing agent Gerald O’Neill of Coldwell Banker Harbor Light says four owners have lived in the house since then and there have been no issues.
