Any abandoned structure is fascinating and each one has unique features that make it particularly haunting, intriguing or plain terrifying, but one type of abandoned area stands above the rest in terms of pure creepiness: Amusement Parks.
There are hundreds of defunct amusement parks across the world, with countless parks forced to close their doors due to financial, environmental and other unforeseen issues. Most of those parks were demolished, with other parks and rabid collectors scooping up old rides and artifacts, but hundreds remain abandoned and shocking intact.
