The Ohio State Buckeyes are expected to have one of the most talented teams in the entire country this upcoming season, but it sounds like the Buckeyes have also been getting it done in the classroom, as well.

As Ohio State football team beat writer Tony Gerdeman of Buckeye Huddle pointed out on social media, the Ohio State football team was one of just two programs with a perfect multi-year Academic Progress Rate score of 1,000, joining Harvard.

“Ohio State announces an APR score of 989 department-wide for 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years. The football program produced a perfect score of 1,000. They joined Harvard as the only D-I FB programs with a perfect score,” Gerdeman said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Obviously, it’s pretty insane news that Ohio State has been so successful in academics while also maintaining its status as one of the most dominant programs in all of college football. Needless to say, this news led to a lot of reactions on social media.

This is certainly something that Ohio State will celebrate, but they’ll obviously hope to be celebrating a national championship after this upcoming football season, as well.
