Ever since becoming the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, Deion Sanders has made it quite clear that he likes to build his roster using the NCAA transfer portal. And it sounds like he’s at it again as he appears to be targeting former Ohio State Buckeyes running back Dallan Hayden.
Dallan Hayden chose to transfer from Ohio State in the spring after the Buckeyes returned star running back TreVeyon Henderson and added former Ole Miss star running back Quinshon Judkins out of the transfer portal leaving him third on the depth chart. And it sounds like Colorado will be an option for Hayden.
According to a report from college football recruiting insider Steve Wiltfong of On3, Dallan Hayden has already spoken to Deion Sanders about potentially joining the team.

“Former Ohio State RB Dallan Hayden talked with Colorado head coach Deion Sanders this morning,” Wiltfong said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
We’ll have to see whether or not Hayden does ultimately decide to sign with Colorado and Sanders, but it could be a good fit given the team’s need at the running back position this upcoming season.
