As the 2024 presidential election between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris heats up, one college basketball coach has made it very clear who he is supporting in the election.
This week, Republican Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas made a post on social media criticizing Kamala Harris for her healthcare plan.
“Kamala Harris is so extreme she wants to kick you off the health insurance you get through your job. Like a true San Francisco radical, she wants everyone—even illegal aliens—on a government plan,” Cotton said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
Cotton’s post caught the attention of Auburn Tigers men’s basketball coach Bruce Pearl, who agreed with Cotton.
Thank you for pointing this out Senator Cotton, except my guess is that like many of her socialist, woke progressive beliefs she's now changing them or hiding them to get elected! We won't get fooled again! https://t.co/qTuLHxjADV

“Thank you for pointing this out Senator Cotton, except my guess is that like many of her socialist, woke progressive beliefs she’s now changing them or hiding them to get elected! We won’t get fooled again!” Pearl said in a post on X.
It’s worth noting that the article Cotton originally shared in his post was written four years ago back in 2020. Harris’ current platform for her 2024 presidential campaign does not mention any of this, nor does any broader Democratic platform.
