Troy Aikman is one of the most iconic players ever to play for the Dallas Cowboys, and it sounds like he’s sticking by his former team regardless of their recent struggles to make a deep run through the postseason.
During a recent interview at the Children’s Cancer Fund’s “A Knight to Remember” Gala, Troy Aikman was asked about his fellow former Cowboys players becoming more and more frustrated with the direction of the team, and he offered a pretty clear response.
“Well, I heard their comments,” Aikman said in a video shared by Jon Machota of The Athletic. “I guess some of them are (frustrated), and we know who those people are as well.

“I just know the people in the building want to win more than anyone outside the building. People are passionate, and I understand that as well. But I do believe whatever decisions are made or how the team performs, they’re doing everything they can to play their best. I don’t know what to tell you.”
We’ll have to see if the Cowboys can finally get over the hump and make a deep playoff run this upcoming season in what could be the final season with Dak Prescott at quarterback.
