Caitlin Clark Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22) and guard Kelsey Mitchell (0) celebrate during the first half of a game Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

It’s been a wild year for Caitlin Clark as she essentially went straight from college basketball to playing in the WNBA with almost no time off.

And now that her WNBA season is over, she has a little bit of time to breathe.

After the Indian Fever was officially eliminated from the WNBA playoffs on Wednesday night, Caitlin Clark opened up a little bit about the exhausting past several months.

“I feel like basketball has really consumed my life for a year, so I feel like it would be good for me to kind of reflect back on everything that’s happened,” Clark told reporters after the game according to Fox News.

“I feel like I didn’t really have time to reflect on my college career because it ended so fast, and then I came here and trying to give everything I could to this team. It was special.

“There was a lot of things that this group accomplished that a lot of people probably didn’t think was possible.”

Clark will now finally have some time off to step back from the game, refresh and prepare for the next season.

We’ll have to see how she performs next season with a year of experience under her belt.
