The Baltimore Orioles got active in the MLB trade market on Tuesday. Ahead of the Trade Deadline, the Orioles made a move for a southpaw pitcher.

Baltimore will acquire LHP Trevor Rogers in a trade with the Miami Marlins. In exchange, the Orioles will send one of the team’s top prospects to Miami.

“The Baltimore Orioles are finalizing a deal to acquire left-hander Trevor Rogers from the Miami Marlins,” Jeff Passan wrote. “Infielder Connor NOrby and one other player are headed to Miami in the trade.”

Later, outfielder Kyle Stowers was reported to be the other player involved in the deal. According to MLB.com, Norby is the team’s fifth-best prospect.

The reaction to this deal centers solely on Baltimore, and the price they paid for Trevor Rogers. Many emerged to pan the Orioles for the deal they made on Tuesday afternoon.
