During a recent trip to the golf course, Donald Trump was recorded by a few apparent fans as he absolutely blasted political opponents Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. But he also sparked some outrage for his praise of Chinese dictator Xi Jinping.
In the leaked video, Donald Trump can be seen in his golf cart talking to others on the golf course. As he criticizes Joe Biden for his age, he then praises Xi Jinping, calling him “fierce person” and a “very tough guy.”
“Can you imagine that guy dealing with [Russian President Vladmir] Putin?” Trump said of Biden. “And the president of China – who’s a fierce person. He’s a fierce man, a very tough guy. And they see him.”

Needless to say, this praise for a foreign dictator did not sit well with people as they expressed their outrage at the former president’s words.

This is not the first time that Trump has praised Xi, either.
Last year, Trump praised Xi for his toughness and the way
“Now, the press doesn’t like it when I say good things about (Xi),” Trump told a crowd during a rally last year. “What can I say? He runs 1.4 billion people with an iron hand.”
