Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce appears quite happy in his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift as the pair have clearly formed quite a strong bond. But while Kelce quite clearly Swift and his relationship with her, it’s pretty clear that he isn’t necessarily enjoying everything that comes along with it.
During a recent interview on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast, Travis Kelce opened up a little bit about the downside of dating one of the most famous people on the planet: a complete lack of privacy. Kelce claimed that people have been showing up to his own personal home.
“That’s been the craziest, definitely the pulling up to the house,” Kelce said on the podcast according to the New York Post.
Kelce admitted that while he thoroughly enjoys Swift’s fans and is happy that they have now taken such an interest in him, he wishes that he could at least have privacy in his own home.
“I’ve had fun with just about every aspect of it, it’s just, when you’re at home, you want privacy, and you don’t always get that,” Kelce said.
An Us Weekly source recently spoke on this issue in their relationship, claiming that this sort of attention “freaking him out at first.”
“People would show up at his house and leave things on his doorstep,” the source said. “It kind of freaked him out at first. He didn’t feel safe.”
Kelce has dealt with this situation throughout his relationship with Swift. In fact, it was initially so bad that his brother Jason Kelce revealed Travis actually had to move out of his house due to harassment from fans.
“He had to completely move out of his house,” Jason Kelce said. “People were just staying by his house.”
Needless to say, this is a pretty horrible situation for Kelce. Clearly, there are downsides to having one of the most high-profile relationships on the planet.
