The Baltimore Ravens made a significant addition to their offense this offseason. Baltimore signed running back Derrick Henry, a move that might help tip the scales in their favor in the AFC. Henry is an accomplished running back who played for the Tennessee Titans for his entire NFL career. After an illustrious career that included a 2,000-yard season, he joined the Ravens to help give them more punch.

Henry will likely create nightmares for opposing coaches and coordinators in the backfield with Lamar Jackson at quarterback. You don’t quite know what you’re gonna get every snap there.

In Henry’s own words, expect it to be a fun year.

“It’s going to be fun and a breath of fresh air not being the center of attention,” Henry said via The Athletic. Henry said that eyes will be on both he and Lamar, which could wreak havoc.

“But I’m just excited to get to work and put the work in out here and let it all come together,” Henry added.

The former Alabama standout has rushed for 9,502 yards in his career on 2030 carries. That’s good enough for a whopping 4.7 yards per attempt. He led the NFL in rushing yards in 2019 and 2020, when he ran for 2,027 yards. Henr’s scored 90 career touchdowns and has hit double digits every year since 2018. Henry isn’t slowing down anytime soon, and could be a massive weapon for the Ravens this year.
