The past few months have been a whirlwind for Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce after he began dating pop sensation Taylor Swift and was thrust into the spotlight before helping lead his team to a second consecutive Super Bowl victory. But even though his life has been crazy, it sounds like he has never been better.
During an interview with Good Morning America on Thursday, Travis Kelce opened up about all of the newfound attention following his relationship with Taylor Swift and how he has been able to stay “grounded” despite the big life changes.
“When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect in life that much easier,” Kelce said according to People Magazine.
“I’ve always been a very grounded guy,” Kelce continued. “It might not come off like that when I’m playing football but off the field, I just want to be a genuine person. I try not to get too far down the road because you just never know when opportunities are going to present themselves.”
Kelce was then asked to rate his happiness with his life on a scale of 1-10. And Kelce boldy said “20? 100?”
“I’m so fortunate, so grateful of everything that come my way in life,” Kelce said. “I feel like I’m on top of the mountain, even after winning the Super Bowl and having the off-season that I’m having.
“Living the dream, baby.”
