Former United States President Donald Trump is facing a number of problems after he was convicted on all 34 charges of falsifying business records during his criminal trial in New York, but there’s a pretty significant consequence that hasn’t been heavily publicized: as a convicted felon, Donald Trump technically will not be permitted to visit any of his overseas golf courses.
According to the World Population Review, there are 38 nations around the world that block convicted felons from traveling into the country. That list includes Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates – all of the countries where Donald Trump has golf courses overseas.
Trump currently has four golf courses outside of the United States: Trump Turnberry in Scotland, Trump International in Aberdeen, Scotland, Trump International Golf Links and Hotel in Doonbeg, Ireland, and Trump International Golf Club, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Based on the policy from those nationals to deny entry to convicted felons, Trump will not be able to travel to any of the golf courses he owns overseas.
There is a chance that these nations could make exceptions for Trump, especially if he is elected president of the United States. But currently, he is banned from traveling there.
