The Kansas City Chiefs just won back-to-back Super Bowl championships by defeating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. And it seems that United States President Joe Biden has taken some inspiration from their back-to-back victories.
On Friday afternoon, the Kansas City Chiefs paid a visit to the White House where they met with Joe Biden to celebrate their second consecutive Super Bowl victory. During the festivities, Biden delivered a speech and even put on a Chiefs’ helmet as part of the celebration.
As part of his address to the team, Biden could not help but take a subtle shot at his political opponent, Donald Trump as he suggested that he would like to win “back-to-back” just like the Chiefs.
“Welcome back. Welcome back to the White House. Super Bowl LVIII champions. The Kansas City Chiefs,” Biden said. “The first team in 20 years to win back-to-back. Winning back-to-back. I kind of like that.”
Obviously, Biden is referring to the upcoming presidential election against Trump. Biden beat Trump in the 2020 election and he wants to go “back-to-back” by beating him in the 2024 election, as well.
The Chiefs did it, we’ll have to see if Biden can do it, too.
