New York Giants star tight end Darren Waller and WNBA superstar Kelsey Plum recently announced their divorce last month after only one year of marriage. And based on a recent song release from Waller, it appears that he is taking the decision quite hard.
Waller, who has made music in the past, released a music video for the new song that he officially released last week. And it was… interesting to say the least, featuring a Kelsey Plum lookalike in the video. At the very end of the song, Waller referenced the fake Plum stabbing him in the back with a knife, followed by Waller falling onto the sand at the beach.

Obviously, divorce is hard for anybody as it represents the end of what typically is at one point a great time in their life. But Waller going about this situation by hiring a Kelsey Plum lookalike for the video is certainly a bit of a bizarre choice.
Fox News Digital, who wrote on the music video, reached out to Kelsey Plum’s representatives for comment on the video, which they did have not responded to yet.
It may not help matters that Waller’s NFL career hasn’t exactly been thriving at the moment in comparison to past years. Waller played in 12 games last season, hauling in 52 receptions for 552 yards, a far cry from his lone Pro Bowl season in 2020 with the Las Vegas Raiders.
