Even though Super Bowl LVIII will be played in Las Vegas, known as Sin City for its party-like atmosphere, it doesn’t sound like Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes will be putting up with anybody who allows Vegas to become a distraction in the leadup to the Super Bowl.
During his press conference on Monday night, Patrick Mahomes made it clear that right now, the team’s sole focus is on preparing for the Super Bowl. But if they win, then he’ll be willing to take his team to the Las Vegas Strip to celebrate and enjoy the city properly.
“This is a business trip. I told the guys that if we win I’ll bring everyone back to Vegas to celebrate,” Mahomes said according to James Palmer of NFL Network.

Obviously, Mahomes and the Chiefs are no strangers to the pressure that comes with preparing for the Super Bowl as Mahomes has led the team to two championships in three appearances through just his first five seasons as a starter in the league.
We’ll have to see whether or not that experience pays off this week as they prepare for a showdown against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night.
