Former United States President Donald Trump had been away from Twitter since the social media site banned him back in 2020, but with Elon Musk now running the social network, Trump is allowed back – and his first post certainly caught the attention of one NFL star.
Even though his account was reinstated months ago, Donald Trump had not actually used his account as he continued to post on Truth Social – the social network he helped start when he was banned from Twitter and Facebook. But Trump did eventually return to Twitter following his arrest in Georgia this weekend, posting a photo of his mugshot and the words “ELECTION INTERFERENCE. NEVER SURRENDER.”
This post quickly drew the attention of Baltimore Ravens star cornerback Marlon Humphrey, who had a pretty brutal message for the former president, calling him “The Toxic King.”

“We missed you. The Toxic King is back,” Humphrey said in a tweet earlier this week.
Humphrey’s words generated quite a reaction on social media.
These comments are hilarious… Everybody wants Marlo to be on their side but he's just having a good time…

While the tweet from Trump seemed to mark the former president’s return to Twitter, he has not posted another tweet since while he continues to be active on Truth Social.
So maybe he isn’t returning to Twitter, after all.
