Antonio Brown isn’t having it with criticism his production is heightened just because he plays with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
The Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver responded to the suggestion Brown should “thank his lucky stars” he’s put up big receiving numbers throughout his career and got paid because of Big Ben. In a dramatic clap back, Brown said: “Trade me let’s find out.”

The 30-year-old is unquestionably one of the best wideouts in the NFL, racking up more than 10,000 receiving yards in just eight seasons. The six-time Pro Bowler remains largely productive, leading the league in receiving yards in 2017 (despite playing 14 games). He’s remained productive to start 2018, with 18 catches and 160 yards in the Steelers 0-1-1 start.
Despite his production, Brown’s off the field issues, not his play, has dominated early-season headlines.
Earlier last week, Brown threatened ESPN senior writer Jesse Washington on Twitter after taking issue with a profile written about him.
Brown also got heated on the Steelers sideline on Sunday.

Brown ended the day dodging media and not bringing up the incident.

Thanks to an abrasive attitude, Brown has made himself an easy target to go after. There’s no question he’s more than just a product of Roethlisberger’s QB play. But, when he’s putting himself above the team (even if it just appears that way) and suggesting to fans he needs to be traded, it’s not a great look. Brown needs to let his production do the talking and log off Twitter for a bit.
