Getting mic’d up before a game is essential for a head coach in professional football in order to keep contact with coordinators on the sidelines and in the higher-ups. But for one CFL coach, taking off his headset proved to be a problem.
In Canadian Football League action between the Montreal Alouettes and the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Mike Sherman had a tough time removing his headset. Sherman’s gear got tangled up in his shirt and the Al’s head coach needed assistance taking it off. It was all caught on camera.

Next time, Sherman needs to tape his audio equipment down and try not to get it tangled up. Otherwise, incidents like this one will reoccur.
Sherman’s Alouettes picked up the win and the head coach earned his first victory in Montreal. Congratulations, even if the headset blunder is what most people will remember most from the game.
