Well, this is not a step forward for anyone. According to SI.com’s Richard Deitsch the latest artist to get to sing ‘One Shining Moment’ at the end of the NCAA Final game will be Ne-Yo. We have no clue if that is good or not, but we are going to assume that it is not. To be fair it is a no win situation for whatever artist chooses to sing the famous song during the tourney recap, as it is impossible to top Luther Vandross. The saving grace with this is that it looks like the NCAA has chosen to do two versions, one with Luther and one with the other dude named above.
Looks like a compromise: There will still be a Luther Vandross version of "One Shining Moment" and a new one from @NeYoCompound.
