Back in the early 2000s, David Ortiz and Corey Koskie were teammates on the Minnesota Twins. On Monday, Koskie reminded his former teammates Jacque Jones, LaTroy Hunter, Ortiz himself and the world of that fact by tweeting out that he had unearthed these amazing sneakers with Ortiz’s face plastered all over them.

When he was asked how one could procure a pair of David Ortiz sneakers, Koskie admitted that he’s had them for about a decade.
@mattwinters5 @toriihunter48 @JacqueJones11 @LaTroyHawkins32 @davidortiz I took them out of his closet 10 years ago.

The fact that Koskie seems so excited to have found these kicks is only disappointing because it means that he probably doesn’t wear them frequently which is a shame because they may be the best pair of baseball-related footwear to ever be created.
