Matt Hasselbeck put on a gusty performance Thursday night against the Texans.
Just days before the game, Hasselbeck was hospitalized with a bacterial infection. Colts coach Chuck Pagano made it clear that Hasselbeck really was in no shape to play, but did regardless.
Pagano on Hasselbeck: "He was literally on his death bed … Grittiest performance I've seen in a long long time."

After leading his team to a 27-20 victory, Hasselbeck was reduced to tears after what he called an “emotional day.”
