Oh my.
John Krahn, at 7-feet tall and 440 pounds, may be the biggest person to ever play football according to Max Preps. A senior lineman hailing from Riverside, California, Krahn’s impressive size has inspired a similarly awe-inspiring nickname:
According to his head coach, Kevin Corridan, Krahn goes by the nickname “Junior.”
He is also taller than anyone who has suited up professionally in the sport.
He is taller than any player to ever play in the NFL, and is roughly the same size as WWE superstar Big Show.
Due to the fact that he only started playing football once he was in high school, Krahn is described as “a raw player” but he did draw some interest from college coaches during his time at USA Football’s National Development Games in Los Angeles.
As of now, Krahn’s high school coach thinks that he could play at a junior college level and a transfer to a Division 1 career isn’t out of the question. In the meantime, Krahn will just have to make do with being twice the size of his competition.
Now, that’s just unfair.
