Mike Greenberg is one of the best in the biz but he does occasionally slip up and, when doing so, there are a billion people waiting to pounce, as was the case on Tuesday morning The witty co-host of Mike & Mike sent out a bizarre tweet about Andrew Luck and the Colts’ pitiful Monday Night Football performance that left people wondering what in the hell he was talking about.
Indy lost to the Jets in one of the ugliest games we’ve seen from that team since the debacle of 2011 and everyone has been eviscerating Luck after his dreadful four-turnover game. Greenberg was among many to admit the three-time Pro Bowler had a God awful game but followed it up with an odd note:
Andrew Luck isn't playing well. But he's the only thing standing between the #Colts and the worst record in the league.
— Mike Greenberg (@Espngreeny) September 22, 2015
We kind of hope he’s just making a dry joke because Luck has done very few positive things for this team in 2015 therefore he couldn’t possible be standing in the way of a worse record…and, at 0-2, it’s also not possible for them to have a worse record or not be tied for the league’s worst mark.
@Espngreeny If it weren't for him they'd have less than 0 wins. Good point.

@espngreeny Um, there are worse records than 0-2?
— Clovis Mello (@darkhornet) September 22, 2015
@Espngreeny theyre 0-2, so they have the worst record in the league
