The New York Jets not only won on the field on Sunday, they absolutely slayed the concession stands as well with three absurdly large offerings, including a 10 inch long bagel breakfast sandwich that costs $50.
Accurately called the Jumbo Jet Breakfast Bagel, the meal(s) features four eggs, one pound of ham, one pound of chorizo, a breakfast sausage, four slices of cheese, potato hash and a side of spicy sauce appropriately called Jet Fuel to break through the layers upon layers of greasy goodness.
As if that were not enough bad/great enough, the Jets are also offering a couple of other “Jumbo” sized snacks fit enough to feed several large animals. There’s this 28-inch long polish sausage that is decked out in one pound of shaved chicken sausage, sauerkraut, caramelized onions and mustard (with a side of Jet Fuel) that costs $60.
And then there’s this so-called pretzel that is topped with beer cheese, chorizo, fried jalapenos and mustard (and, you guessed it, JET FUEL). This literal manifestation of stadium-sized excess is the cheapest of the Jumbo sized options at $30.
As expensive as these items are, when one considers the prices of food and drink at NFL games, paying sixty bucks for a polish sausage that can reasonably feed seven people isn’t that bad of a deal. Just make sure to take a friend (or five) and some heart burn medicine with you before diving into one of these Jumbo-sized bad boys.
