Over the weekend, over 50 dogs gathered at Imperial Beach in California for the 10th annual Unleashed by Petco Surf Dog Competition to display their prowess on a surf board.
Overall, there were five different competitions at the event; Small Dog (won by a Small Eskimo dog named Ziggy), Medium Dog (won by Australian Kelpie Abbie Girl), Big Dog (won by Golden Retriever Kalani), X-Large Dog (won by Boxer Hanzo) and Tandem Surf (won by Kalani and Hanzo).
Still, while the event may have produced gold medals for some dogs, it seems that most of the attendees had fun trying to keep their paws upright on the surf boards. Check out some of the adorable photos from dog surf competition below.
