Deandre Jordan was the most integral piece to the Mavericks’s rebuilding effort, and they got him, for less than a week. And then Jordan decided to renege on his four-year, $80 million deal with the Mavericks, and sign back with the Clippers. Mavericks wing Chandler Parsons, who recruited Jordan to Dallas (presumably with a platinum credit card, hotel suite, and five bottles of Cristal), was irked that Jordan turned his back on his deal with Dallas and has been throwing shade at him all week — saying he’s too “scared” to be their franchise player.
Check what Chandler had to say about the situation.
Chandler’s words of wisdom: every man has his own right to make his own decision. Just goes to show that this is not and will not be the last time this ever happens.
