Hell hath no fury like a city scorned. The Seattle-area, sworn enemy of the Oklahoma City Thunder and their owner Clay Bennett, must have experienced some wonderful schadenfreude when the Thunder missed the playoffs on Wednesday night thanks to a New Orleans Pelicans win over the San Antonio Spurs.
How else can one explain the fact that there is going to be a party in Seattle because the Thunder missed the playoffs?
SuperSonics fans will have an opportunity to celebrate the Thunder’s misfortune on Thursday at Neumos in Seattle at a party being held by DJ Clinton Sparks, rapper Neema and none other than Shawn Kemp.

According to the Seattle Times, tickets to the event will run at $15. That seems like a small price to pay to bask in the glory of your enemy’s failure for a night.
