Matt Glendinning is the principle of Moses Brown School in Providence, Rhode Island. He may also be something of a parody genius.
With snow blanketing the East Coast, Glendinning found that now was the perfect time to release his own impressively done “Let It Go” parody song “School Is Closed.”
The video, which comes complete with wonderfully cheesy green screen shots and dramatic camera pans, was shot over the course of a couple weeks before Glendinning decided to finish it this weekend when it was forecast that there would be plenty of snow descending on the north east part of the country.
Incredibly, Glendinning stated that he wrote all the lyrics for “School is Closed” in about 15 minutes.
Sadly, the silky smooth voice that sings the song isn’t Glendinning’s (because that would make all of this way too good) but that of the school’s choir director Justin Peters.
If the whole educator thing doesn’t work out, at least Glendinning can probably rest assured that there’s probably a place in song writing for him.
