Like so many sports organizations, the Seattle Seahawks took some time out of their day to post their own Tweet acknowledging that Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Unfortunately, the team decided that the best way to honor Martin Luther King Jr was to compare the Seahawks’ ability to overcome the Green Bay Packers in yesterday’s NFC Championship Game to what King achieved in his lifetime.
It was deleted soon after it was posted because, let’s face it, it’s a really bad Tweet. Winning a damn football game is not similar to fighting for equal rights for all Americans.
