Unsurprisingly, this batch of baseball cards from the 1870s ended up being the most valuable sports memorabilia valuation in Antiques Roadshow history.
The cards of the Boston Red Stockings players are in excellent condition, especially considering that they are over 100 years old. A cool million dollars for a collection this rare? Sounds about right.
One has to respect the woman for not immediately running off-stage to sell the cards at the nearest auction house either.
In a completely unrelated matter, I’m going to go visit my parents’ house to check out their attic for… reasons.
