Derrick Rose hasn’t had a whole lot of luck lately with anything involving the Portland Trailblazers. In last season’s game at the Moda Center, Rose went down with a torn meniscus that forced him to miss the rest of the season. In their first meeting in November, Rose didn’t even suit up, choosing not to test the curse of playing in an arena built on an Indian burial ground. Tonight appears to be a different story so far, as Rose came out on fire with four consecutive floaters. Unfortunately, LaMarcus Aldridge scored 21 points in the first quarter to steal the show.
