Janoris Jenkins’ very bad Monday night continued into the third quarter. After being burned by Brandon Lloyd to end the first half, Jenkins found himself at the mercy of Perenially-Pissed-Off wide receiver Anquan Boldin and Colin Kaepernick.
The play took a long time to develop and Kaepernick had to run around to buy time for Boldin to get open. However, the throw by Kaepernick had to be perfect and Kaep somehow lofted it above the defense and right into Boldin’s awaiting arms. The score was the 17th unanswered point by the 49ers as the Niners would go up 17-14 for the first time.
