The rugby Super League Grand Final is being played today and it got off to a very ugly start thanks to Wigan’s Ben Flower, who brutally attacked an opponent just a few minutes into the match. Flower inexplicably sucker-punched Lance Hohaia of St. Helens, knocking him to the ground. Flower then mounted Hohaia and proceeded to deliver yet another blow straight to his face. As you’d expect, the attack earned Flower a much-deserved red card.
Considering they’re rugby players, those two guys will probably share a nice laugh about the incident over a beer after the game.
