If you’ve ever lost something and then had it returned to you later, you know how great that feeling can be. Now just imagine that you’ve lost something, and it’s a CUTE LITTLE PUPPY that comes running to return it to you. BEST DAY EVER, right?
That’s the new customer service strategy being employed by one airline, KLM, at their headquarters in Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. If a passenger leaves something on board one of their flights, the crew gives the item to a cute beagle puppy – appropriately named Sherlock – to sniff before letting him roam the airport in search of the appropriate owner. And, from the looks of things, it’s a strategy that appears to be working.
It’s pretty safe to say that I’ll be flying KLM if I ever get the chance, and I’ll probably be leaving something on the airplane intentionally.
