At this point, “Joel Embiid does something on Twitter” should be its own Communications 101 class. The Philadelphia 76ers rookie’s Twitter has completely justified the existence of the social media platform, even when he’s not using it to publicly campaign for dates with Rihanna.
Even Joel Embiid’s direct messages are Twitter gold.
Last week, Embiid sent a DM to NBA 2k without any prompting in order to ask for a “mean offensive game” and Hakeem Olajuwan’s “Dream Shake.”

I’m not sure how Joel Embiid’s Twitter antics could get any better but he continues to outdo himself with his Twitter game. If his ball skills are anywhere close to his social media prowess, then NBA 2K better give him 99’s for all skill categories.
