A rain delay pushed the Coke Zero 400 in Daytona from Saturday night to Sunday. Unfortunately for all those imaginary ‘Lord of the Rings’ fans who are somehow willing to spend an entire Sunday watching all three films while also not already owning said films, the NASCAR race ended up interrupting the marathon.
Instead of literally doing anything else with their Sunday, Twitter users tore into TNT for interrupting a marathon of movies that are over a decade old. Seriously, you’ve seen them already.
At the very least, choose to protest a greater injustice like the fact that a NASCAR race is called the “Coke Zero 400.”
So disappointed, maybe I wanted to spend my entire Sunday watching Lord of the Rings and eating pasta salad. Is that too much to ask for?
