Lukas Podolski, a forward on the German national team, appears to be having a fun time with his teammates in Brazil.
The Germans have good reason to be happy. Despite struggling against Algeria, the team emerged with a 2-1 victory in the Round of 16. Next up for Germany is France, in a battle for the right to advance to the semifinals of the World Cup.
In an alternate universe, the U.S. beats Belgium and we’re looking at a leggy photo of Dempsey, Howard, Altidore, and Jones.
We’ll have to settle for this, I guess.
