No one is safe, I guess. Not even cops.

According to the Associated Press, during the World Cup opener on June 12th, a police sniper discovered an armed man — dressed as a policeman — approaching Brazil’s President, Dilma Rousseff. The sniper requested permission to shoot him, thinking that the man was wearing a disguise.

Luckily, his request was turned down, as the man was actually a real policeman who was investigating a suspected bomb threat.

See, this is why I’m content watching every World Cup game from the luxury of my couch.
