I am not going to sugarcoat this, I absolutely loathe the dunk contest and have so for about 6 years now. Everything about it is fake and the complete opposite of the contests in the late eighties and nineties which were what I grew up watching. Here is to hoping they don’t suck again this year. Paul George, John Wall, Damian Lillard, Ben McLemore, Harrison Barnes, and defending dunk champion Terrence Ross are the 6 players who will be participating in the 2014 NBA Slam Dunk Contest according to Hoop MixTape.
All in all, that is not a bad field.
