During yesterday’s Capitals-Rangers game, Caps winger Martin Erat was not pleased that New York’s Brian Boyle took his time to get up while sitting on a live puck. Erat’s response? Spearing Boyle right in the groin. It looked quite painful (and, judging from the look on Boyle’s face, it was) and the cheap shot landed Erat with two minutes in the penalty box.
