Deion Sanders Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders has already helped change the narrative around his program in just one season. And now, he will be bringing in another former NFL star to help build the prestige of the Colorado program even further.

Hall of Fame defensive tackle Warren Sapp is fondly remembered by many NFL fans as one of the most dominant forces in the history of the sport, famously earning seven Pro Bowl honors over the course of his 13-year professional career.

His experience at the highest level is largely unmatched similarly to Deion Sanders. And now, Sapp will be joining Sanders at Colorado. He was seen talking to a number of the Colorado players on Monday.

According to Thee Pregame Show, a social media page following Colorado and Sanders, Sapp will be joining the staff as a Senior Control Analyst for the team.

Having two Pro Football Hall of Fame members on the coaching staff should not only go a long way in recruiting, but ultimately to their overall success on the football field.

Naturally, fans took notice of this video and they seem to believe that Sapp should be a great influence in the Colorado locker room.

If you are a young defensive player looking to colleges, it’s hard to argue that Colorado isn’t a top destination now that they have two of the best defensive players to ever play the game of football on their coaching staff.

Only time will tell whether this ultimately leads to success in Boulder. But it sure seems like Coach Prime could be building something great for the foreseeable future.
