Fortnite has taken over the world of gaming and pretty soon, it will take over a baseball game – at least for one Triple-A squad.
The Omaha Storm Chasers, Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, announced on Twitter they’ll be hosting a Fortnite-themed night in August based on the extremely popular Battle Royale game.
In true Fortnite spirit, the Chasers will wear Lama Piñata jerseys (inspired from the game), run a series of games and activities for fans, and host Twitch streamer DrLupo.
Drop in to Werner Park for Fortnite: Chasers Royale on August 6!

Personally, I am not a big fan of minor league parks doing gimmicky jersey nights. But, as a Fortnite fan, I think this a brilliant way to bring in new fans. The jerseys are tight and if/when they auction them off, I’d wager they’ll bring in big bucks.
It’s a cool, trendy promotion that will bring non-baseball fans to the stadium. The Chasers marketing is on point. Now, where can we cop our own Fortnite Chasers jersey?
