The drama just doesn’t seem to end for RG3.
Monday night, the Redskins quarterback’s Instagram account “liked” multiple posts trashing the Redskins organization and owner Dan Snyder. However, he quickly claimed he wasn’t responsible for the incident and blamed an intern who supposedly helps run his account.
“I just wanted to set the record straight on this one,” he wrote. “I did not ‘like’ that IG post ridiculing our team. I have not been social media active consistently for awhile now and am ultra-focused on working to get back on the field and trying to help this team. One of our interns who helps with Instagram liked the post. As soon as I was made aware of it, it was immediately unliked. That is not how I feel and I appreciate your understanding.”
It’s been a rough week for Griffin as it was decided earlier this week that he will be backing up Kirk Cousins to start the 2015 season. At this rate, a change of scenery for him in the near future seems imminent
